changeTan and Friends
One instrument’s voice, a chorus of souls
“changeTan and Friends” is the first sonic exploration of the newly invented instrument, changeTan — a hand-crafted creation inspired by the monochord, yet reimagined with new modifications to produce a sound both unique and strangely familiar.
Balancing between meditation and play, silence and resonance, changeTan offers a contemplative presence — a voice born from the vibration of string and wood, and from the solitude of the body.
In this album, changeTan enters into subtle dialogue with other instruments, sounds, and dear musician friends, shaping an auditory space that feels like an inner, dreamlike conversation — one that is not only heard but also invites reflection and pause.
The album consists of seven innovative tracks, each forming its own independent universe while remaining deeply connected to the whole. In all pieces, changeTan is not merely the central instrument — it is the narrator of mood and space.
“changeTan and Friends” takes the listener to the threshold between silence and sound — offering a space for presence, for stillness, for immersion and inquiry.
